Many times when we just decorate the head full of ideas not stop to ask what a space if we had chosen another setting, other textile or other colors but we find it difficult to visualize. Today I want to share with you two rooms Crosby Street in New York that they have equal proportions and almost identical furniture but decorated in two different ways, using as white and black.

Observe how both superior image like the one you have in these lines, is part of the same space: black walls, a large window, a double bed and two tables of different width (a solution difficult, but they went well ). Are also the same table lamps in the two cases and boxes that are on the headboard but in a different configuration, although the space on the tables is the same in the two rooms?

In the first bedroom, black and white, have chosen a textile white and black diamonds for the headboard to the chair that you have the right and the cushions, while the bedspread is completely white. The curtain is committed to a geometric pattern in black and brown that is also found in the dummy on the left. See how the tails of the bed are black, sober, to focus all attention on the impact of the headboard wall.

Here is the second, who has been introduced to fuchsia to draw attention to the header, this time is a pattern of stripes and flowers, combining the two big trends this summer textiles. Here the cushions have retained the color magenta, but the quilt is still white as in the previous case. Moreover, the same material as the header has been chosen for the bed skirts, making a coordinated pretty original, but in my opinion would not have been bad if they had turned black.

In the second case, the bank of the foot of the bed is upholstered in an elegant gray and fuchsia fabric colors getting out of bed. The curtains are more sober and combine the previous gray to white in a minimalist. If the first picture would look directly impact the wall, here we cannot look at the headboard and the wall with a single picture just claim our attention.

It is a pity that the photographer did not open over the plan to provide a broader picture of the second bedroom to compare what solution have been chosen for the table that you have left. However, I do want to note the bench in the second picture by the window, which is for me the biggest failure of this environment. I much prefer the chair of the first image, since we already have the bank at the foot of the bed.

Which of the two rooms you stay? My favorite is the one with fuchsia, I feel more cheerful, less mechanical.
