A low bed for the bedroom

In my opinion the lower beds are among this type of furniture became fashionable because they are new, different and because it breaks out a concept with a tradition of many years, giving a new look to something very typical, may seem an insignificant detail, but lowering the height of the bed makes the bedroom look like and that’s totally different, yet I doubt they are really practical.

Seeing this design series LAX, I should say that I loved and for which the firm offers various environments that we will see below I have started to reflect on this type of bed and came to the conclusion that the benefits I see are aesthetic and functional disadvantages, so I know that I never decided to buy it but I like it.

Among the advantages in addition to the distinction that means having a bedroom different from the traditional, with some very modern and oriental air, low bed objectively makes broadening the visual field, there is less volume to the whole room so this will seem larger, however, is inadequate in very small bedrooms because it will make it appear that there is discrepancy in the dimensions, but in the medium size. The concept of home interiors and healthy homes

Maybe a month ago, in a presentation which was attended by a variety of opportunities among which the majority are university students and employees of housing developers, I am talking about simple ways to be more responsive home environment. In urban areas, less land so that land prices go up more and more people who cause trouble to buy a house. Impact; number of occupants in a home increases with the increase in the number of family members, and other factors are contributing to the natural conditions that have been disrupted.

If at this time we can have a house, it is the grace and elegance which we’re grateful for, especially if the house we live in is a healthy home. What elements should be considered in designing the lay out floor plans and spatial planning for a healthy home? Read the rest of this entry »

Trick the eye

Trompe l’oeil is a French term meaning “trick the eye” and describes a painting that deceives. This style of painting has his roots going back to antiquity. Apart from their decorative function, trompe l’oeils are often intended to be humorous or astonishing, and one well-known story depicts apprentices who would paint coins on the floor of Rembrandt’s studio for the pleasure of watching him try to pick them up!

A good trompe l’oeil mural can blur the boundary between fantasy and reality, making the viewer believe he or she is looking out on a delightful landscape, even from the confines of a windowless room. More than just a visual joke, however, these “tricks” can be used in interiors to enhance a dull corner or transform walls into a room with a view. Read the rest of this entry »

Flooring

The floor is the foundation for any room scheme and has a profound effect on its atmosphere, as well as appearance. The floor is also the most used and abused surface in any house; battered by feet, scraped by furniture, and requiring regular vacuuming, brushing, mopping, or sweeping.

When deciding what to do with floor, consider two issues: the floor itself and the carpeting or rug that covers it. Budget, the look, and how you plan to use the space will help you decide what to do.

Different parts of the house make different demands on their respective floor coverings. Some like halls, stairs corridors, and routes between well-used areas, require a floor that is particularly hard-wearing. Bathrooms, especially those with showers, work better if the flooring is waterproof. Kitchens work better if the flooring is stain-resistant. Bedrooms feel more comfortable if at least some of the floor is soft and warm to the touch of a bare foot. Read the rest of this entry »

Bedrooms & Dens

● When interior designing your bedrooms, make sure the rooms are cozy and restful in appearance. Avoid bright colors like orange. Bright colors won’t induce you to sleep. Neutral, pastel and warm colors are best suited for bedrooms.

● If you are starting your interiors from scratch, you can start by choosing fabrics first and base the color of you wall from it, then you can select furniture that compliments the color of walls and the fabrics that you are going to use. Read the rest of this entry »

Trees of synthesis, from coast to coast

Taking a tour across the country looking for a tree to celebrate the Christmas holiday. Wound up making several glorious stops. Found Artificial Christmas Tree, which I thought you know, real balsam trees couldn't support much weight, but these trees are beautiful. From the coast of California to the Rockies, we travel beyond to Smoky Mountains and finally wind up in Vermont. I learned other detours were possible, including Alaska, the Adirondacks and the Berkshires, but everywhere you go, you find their trees.

Many sizes available, ranging from Christmas elf-height to something more approaching Yuletide giant. Too, a special shape for skyscraper-dwellers who need to slice their trees footprint without performing grotesque surgeries. We have seen many unusual designs, but I do not remember seeing a topiary tree for the season before. We do not expect innovation for something so traditional, but it will seem uniquely right for some...and the needles are a work of craftsmanship, even those with piney ridges and all the trimmings (but no turkeys here, instead wreaths, garlands, skirts, ornaments, and of course, lights lights lights....)
